Write to me

Nice to meet you,I'm Paolo.

I design visual identities, campaigns and websites for agencies and small businesses. With AI I produce drafts, variants and formats in less time.

How I work, in short

What the viewer has to remember.

I decide it before opening a file. The rest of the work exists to get it across.

One point of contact.

Whether it's a poster, a site or an AI workflow, the client deals with me from the first idea to the final file.

Method instead of portfolio.

Many projects go out under other people's names, so here I describe how I work.

Where I come from

I started with editorial design in the 2000s: magazines bundled with national newspapers, catalogues, books and periodicals. Then visual identities, corporate brochures, digital publishing apps, food editorial projects and tourism promotion.

The web came later: today I design and build sites, often in WordPress and sometimes with no CMS, written for each project. Since 2023 I bring AI into the workflows of agencies and small businesses.

I work as both graphic designer and web designer: the first decides what you see, the second how it's used. Having both at the same desk means site, print and social follow the same rules.

I work with agencies and other freelancers. In the classroom I've run over a hundred courses and workshops, for more than a thousand people, on graphic design, web design and AI: explaining a method to someone who doesn't know it is the fastest way to find out where it doesn't hold.

I work from Liguria, remotely, with agencies and companies across Italy, mostly in Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy.

Where I use AI.

I set the rules for choosing which variant to keep beforehand, in every phase. The years on paper and in the print shop serve this: seeing right away which one to discard, and explaining why.

Idea, direction, production, finishing: the four phases.

Tell me what you need.I'll tell you how I'd do it and what I wouldn't do.

A few lines are enough: what, by when, for whom.

In my reply you'll find where I'd start and how long it takes.
